Project Coordinator

Bio

Korie Hard is a project coordinator for the water division of CAESER. Before joining the University and the CAESER team, she worked for an environmental laboratory, testing treated/non-treated wastewater, drinking water testing, and fieldwork. She helped build the customer service and client base at the environmental laboratory. She has constructed a great relationship with the local utilities within Jackson, Tennessee, and surrounding areas, as well as with the Tennessee Department of Environmental and Conversation of Jackson, Tennessee. She brings some knowledge in agriculture to the team since working with a plant pathologist at the West Tennessee Research and Education Center in Jackson, Tennessee. She has been part of the University of Memphis engineering department for five years as a Research Equipment Technician II before joining CAESER. She graduated from Lambuth University in Jackson, Tennessee, with a Bachelor of Science in Environmental Science. She has recently earned a graduate certificate in Legal Studies at the University of Tennessee Knoxville, focusing on regulations and compliance. You can catch her outdoors or just hanging out with friends and family outside work. She is originally from Central New York but has been in Jackson, Tennessee, since 1995.
