CAESER assisted the Memphis Landmarks Commission in developing a mobile collection strategy that mapped, surveyed, and photographed all historic industrial property throughout the City of Memphis.
In addition to identifying significant properties through a series of geoprocessing tasks, field teams also visually inspected each property in order to gather images for the final database. Images were integrated into larger reports, which were in turn associated with each feature enabling planners and preservationists to visually inspect each property. An interactive mapping website was developed by CAESER and extract the correct report by clicking on a map.
